I work as a Support Specialist for
Spartanburg Community College in Spartanburg South Carolina. My job
responsibilities include:
- Working with Faculty and Staff to develop Online
Learning Objects. such as online courses in WebCT/Blackboard,
tutoring videos for classes, lectures, PowerPoint presentations and
training videos.
- Work with students in the use of our Learning
Management System.
- Responsible for maintenance and upgrades to our
Distance Learning class rooms
- Monitoring broadcast classes and proctoring
classes that are scheduled threw SCETV.
- I am a Support Administrator for Panopto (Lecture
software) for the college as well as LORI our Learning Object
Repository Index.
- In my spare time I help out in the Library
checking in/out books to students, and offer some tutoring in
Microsoft Office Applications and Web Design.
